NCC Vacancy for Ex Servicemen 2025 Notification

The DGNCC, Ministry of Defence, has announced a fresh NCC recruitment 2025 for ex-servicemen, providing an opportunity for retired Army personnel to serve the nation once again. This special recruitment drive invites applications from Retired Army JCOs (Subedars & Naib Subedars) and Havildars (excluding NKs and MACP Havs) for appointment as Instructor Staff on a contractual basis at various locations of Assam.

NCC Vacancy for Ex Servicemen Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this NCC ESM recruitment, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. The candidate should only retired Subedar / Naib Subedar (for JCO vacancies) and Havildar (for NCO vacancies) are eligible.
2. The candidate must have retired on or after 31 March 2022. Gap between retirement and hiring date must not exceed 3 years.
3. Medical Fitness must be SHAPE-1 at the time of discharge and fit currently.
4. Not more than one red ink entry during entire service; none in the last five years.

Education Qualification

Candidates should preferably be qualified in one or more of the following professional army courses:

1. Platoon Commander Course
2. Section Commander Course (or equivalent)
3. Ghatak Course
4. Drill Course
5. Weapon Training Course
6. Mortar Course
7. MMG & AGL Course
8. Anti-Tank Course
9. All Arms Signal Course
10. LDCT / LGSC / UI Course
11. Troop Commander Course (or equivalent)
12. ATGM Course
13. Sniper Course
14. ADP Course
15. D&M Course
16. QM Course
17. Other Army-related technical/leadership courses

Age Limit:

1. JCO: Up to 56 years
2. NCO: Up to 54 years

2. Download the NCC ESM Application Form
3. Fill the form by hand (manually)
4. Send your application in two ways:
   • By Email: Scan the filled form and documents into one PDF and send to

5. Attach all required documents with the form before sending.

1. Aadhaar Card (self-attested)
2. Proof of Permanent & Present Address
3. Pension Payment Order (PPO)
4. Character Certificate from last Army unit
5. Certificates of Army and Civil Courses (if any)
6. Medical Fitness Certificate from time of Army discharge
7. Recent Medical Fitness Certificate from OIC ECHS / Civil Surgeon
8. Form 11 under EPF Act 1952
9. Insurance Declaration
10. Pt II Orders of Honours/Awards/Special Achievements (if applicable)
11. Recent Passport size photo (Max 50 KB)

NCC ESM Vacany Selection Process

The selection of Ex-Servicemen for the 53 NCO Instructor posts in the North East Region will be done through the following steps:

1. Applications will be checked by a selection board at the NCC office.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at a later date.
3. Candidates who pass the interview will have their documents verified.
4. Final selection will be based on interview and document check, with a reserve list also made.
5. Selected candidates will get an appointment letter with job details.
6. They will join duty at the given location and date.
7. A 3-month probation period will apply, and the job may be cancelled if performance is poor.
