Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MBBS BDS Admission under the Extremist Violence quota, the candidate must:
- Be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Have qualified in NEET UG 2025.
- Belong to a family affected by extremist violence, with official verification or certificate from the concerned district authority or government.
- Provide documents supporting the status of being a victim or dependent of a victim.

- Visit DME Assam official website: www.dme.assam.gov.in
- Look for the MBBS/BDS Admission 2025 (Special Quota) section.
- Download the special quota application form.
- Fill in all required details like: Personal, Educational qualifications, Category under which you’re applying (e.g., Extremist Violence Quota), NEET UG 2025 details.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of Extremist Violence quota.
- Submit the filled form and documents in person to: Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, 2nd Floor, Room No. 5.
- Submission must be done on or before 11 July 2025 (during office hours).
