Diphu Medical College Assam Recruitment 2025: Diphu Medical College & Hospital, Assam has issued an official notification for the recruitment of Scientist-B (Medical & Non-Medical) on a Temporary basis. The recruitment is under the Department of Health Research (DHR) – Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded scheme for establishing the Medical College Level Viral Research Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL).
The engagement is part of the nationwide initiative “Setting up of a Network of Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and National Calamities”, to strengthen epidemic preparedness, viral disease diagnosis, and research.

- R&D experience in Microbiology/Biotech lab (molecular & immunological) for at least 2 years
- Experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/Medical college projects
- Indexed research publications – Knowledge of computer applications & data management

Research Scientist – B (Medical)– 35 years as on 30/08/2025 (MD/MDS/M.V.Sc degree = equivalent to 2–3 years’ experience)
