About SEBA Compartmental Exam 2025
The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) organizes compartmental examinations for students who fail to clear their 10th board exams. The compartment exams will be held in 23 May to 29 May 2025, allowing students to clear their failed subject (s) and save a year. The exams are in the same format as the regular board exams and have the same duration. According to the announcement by the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA). On the official website, https://site.sebaonline.org/, the precise dates for the SEBA Compartment Exam 2025 have been announced.
The only difference with the regular exam is that students appearing for the compartment exam will only answer the papers of the subject(s) they have failed. With the proper preparation and dedication, students can easily clear their failed subject(s) and move ahead in their academic journey.

SEBA Compartmental Routine – Important Notes
Time allowed 2(two) hours (9 AM to 11 AM and 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM)
- 5 (five) minutes extra time is allowed from 8:55 AM to 9 AM in the Morning shift and 1:25 PM to 1:30 PM in the Afternoon shift to read the Question Paper only. The Officer-in-Charge will arrange distribution of Question Papers accordingly.
- Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo & Karbi.
- Elective Languages (Time 3 hours) and In Lieu Languages (Time 2 hours): There will be common Question paper with group A and group B for the Languages viz, – Assamese (E) & Hindi (E). Candidates offering Elective subject will have to appear in both the groups A and B while in Lieu Language the candidates will have to appear in group A only, which will treated as Assamese (IL) & Hindi (IL) respectively.
