Free Vocations Training Programme Notification
The NESC, in collaboration with Assam Skill University and sponsored by the Directorate of Welfare of SC and Backward Classes, Government of Assam, is pleased to offer a free, residential, one-year job-oriented certificate program for SC candidates. This initiative aims to equip participants with industry-relevant skills and enhance their employment opportunities.
Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for the NESC Free Vocational Course. Classes are expected to commence on August 1, 2025. To secure a spot, applications must be submitted by July 31, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
the candidates must meet the eligible criteria to apply for the course.
- Candidates must have passed 12th grade in any stream.
- Age should be between 17 to 25 years as of 31st July 2025.
- Candidates must belong to the Scheduled Caste category.

- Interested candidates must walk-in for admission with self-attested copies of the following documents:
- Educational qualification certificate

- Photocopy of bank account passbook (front page)
- Four colored passport-size photographs
