For Senior Scientist/ Breeder & Senior Scientist (Under AICRP/AINP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in the relevant discipline.
- Ph.D degree in the relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching, research, or extension.
- At least 5 research publications.
- Minimum API score as per AAU Jorhat norms.
For Assistant Professor & Equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (as per post requirement).
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in the relevant discipline.
- For Food Technology: Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent with a Master’s degree in Food Technology/ Food Science & Technology/ Food Engineering/ Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Process Engineering or equivalent.
- Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) (waived for Ph.D. holders).
- Minimum Academic Performance Indicator (API) score as per AAU norms.
For Associate Professor & Equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (as per post requirement).
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in the relevant discipline.
- Ph.D degree in the relevant field.
