ASSEB Assistant Academic Officer Recruitment Notification
The ASSEB, Division–I, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati, invites applications for the post of Assistant Academic Officer (Bodo). Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Bodo with at least 55% marks, along with B.Ed./M.Ed., and should have studied Bodo at the graduation level. HSLC or equivalent in Bodo medium or with Bodo as MIL is also required.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for ASSEB Assistant Academic Officer (Bodo) Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria below.
Education Qualfication
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Bodo language with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university, along with a B.Ed. or M.Ed. degree. Additionally, applicants must have studied Bodo as a subject at the graduation level and should have passed HSLC or an equivalent examination either in the Bodo medium or with Bodo as a Modern Indian Language (MIL) subject.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years of teaching experience, out of which at least 3 years must be in Government or Provincialized Secondary or Higher Secondary Schools.
Preference
Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D. degree or have undertaken recognized research work, evidenced by published papers in reputed journals. Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and use of email systems will also be considered an advantage
Age Limit
The age limit for the post of Assistant Academic Officer in ASSEB is between 30 to 50 years.
