Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment Notification / Assam Residency
The Join Indian Army has released official notifications for the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) 2025, marking the beginning of the Agniveer recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to join the Indian Army can apply online through the official website.
This post is open only to applicants residing in the districts of Barpeta, Chirang, Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Kamrup (R), Kamrup (M), Baksa, Nalbari, Udalguri, Darrang, Bajali, Tamulpur, South Salmara, and other districts of Assam.
The application process for the Agniveer recruitment has officially started on 12th March 2025. Candidates are advised to submit their applications as soon as possible to ensure they don’t face any last-minute issues, as the deadline approaches.
Indian Army Recruitment Phase
The recruitment process consists of two phases:
Phase I: An online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted at designated Computer Based Test Centres assigned to each candidate.
Phase II: A Recruitment Rally organized by Army Recruiting Offices at specified venues, where candidates undergo physical fitness tests, physical measurement assessments, adaptability tests, and medical examinations.

| 1. Agniveer (General Duty) | Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% marks in each of those five subjects. For boards following grading system, grades commensurate to percentages, as above, will be considered. Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements. |
| 2. Agniveer (Technical) | 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. OR 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above. AGE Limit
According to the Indian Army’s official recruitment notification, candidates born between 1st October 2004 and 1st April 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply for the Agniveer recruitment.
Exam Fees
Candidates applying for the Agniveer Intake 2025-26 under the Agnipath Scheme are required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 250. This fee is applicable to all categories, including General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST.
