1. Revised SOP for Aadhaar Enrolment

  • Approved revised Standard Operating Procedure for Aadhaar enrolment of citizens above 18 years of age.
  • District Commissioners authorized to allow Aadhaar enrolment (18+ years) only in rare cases.
  • Restriction will not apply for 1 year to individuals from SC, ST, and tea garden communities (to address historical exclusion).
  • Aadhaar enrolment of left-out individuals from these groups to be completed within one year.

2. Greening Uriamghat

  • Cabinet appreciated Assam Forest Department and District Administration Golaghat for their role in eviction drive at Uriamghat.
  • Expressed gratitude to Government of Nagaland for jointly conducting the eviction drive.

3. Realising the Dream of Housing for All

  • Cabinet approved adding 3,14,773 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G).

4. Naming of Maharaja Prithu Flyover

  • Cabinet approved naming the four-lane elevated corridor from Dighalipukhuri to Noonmati as Maharaja Prithu Flyover.

5. Ensuring Efficient Administration of Medical Colleges

  • Approved the Memorandum of Association (MoA) of the Hospital Management Society and Rules of the Hospital Management Society of Medical College Society 2025.
  • Aims to:
    • Enhance quality of healthcare services.
    • Improve patient satisfaction.
    • Ensure efficient management in medical colleges across Assam.

6. Boost to Skill Education

Approved NELCO Limited (TATA-NELCO) as strategic partner with Samagra Shiksha Axom for implementing 50 Hubs and 500 Spokes Model for skill education in Assam.

In Phase I:

  • 10 Hubs and 70 Spokes will be set up.
  • Each Hub to offer 10 futuristic trades.
  • Each Spoke to offer 2 trades with 2 trainers each.

Funding Model: 75% by TATA NELCO and 25% by Government of Assam.
