- The Assam cabinet has approved financial sanction of the remaining amount of Rs.325 cr for implementation of Mukhya Mantri Ayushman Asom Yojana in 2025-26.
- Ensures cashless medical treatment continues for beneficiaries.
2. Ensuring Reliable Power Supply
- The Assam cabinet has approved procurement of 500 MW power from the Ministry of Coal at Rs.5.79/unit.
- Aims to provide affordable electricity to the people.
3. Boost to Clean Energy Goals
The Assam cabinet has approved a 1,500 MW Pumped Storage Project in Karbi Anglong.
4. Enabling Ease of Doing Business
- The Assam cabinet has approved amendment of Assam Unified Building Construction (Regulation) Byelaws, 2022.
- Facilitates development of industries and green buildings.
- Allows smaller plots under TOD Policy.

- The Assam Cabinet has approved reclassification of 8 proposals for regulation of land use.
- Transfer of land for non-agricultural purposes under Mission Basundhara 3.0.
