1. The Assam Cabinet Thanked Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi & Union Cabinet For-
- Approving the development of Shillong-Silchar Greenfield High Speed Coridor at a cost of Rs. 22864 cr.
2. Assam Cabinet to Strengthen the power sector in the State has approved-
- Targeted Subsidy of Rs.300cr to APDCL to provide tariff respite to Jeevan Dhara and Domestic
- Tariff subsidy of Rs.200cr to APDCl to avoid hike in retail tarif during FY 2025-28
- Non-AA Financial Sanction and release of Rs.244cr for acquisition of land for up graduation and renovation of the 220KV Grid Substation of AEGCL at sarusajai, Guwahati
3. Cabinet has approved the establishment of the Lala Town Water Supply Scheme under Hilakandi PHE Division
4. Empowering PFC Operators as Village Level Entrepreneurs
5. The Assam Cabinet has approved expanding the role of Jal Mitras as SWA-JAL Mitras to ensure effective implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin
6. The Assam Cabinet has approved an ex-gratia of Rs.5 lakh for the next of kin of the Pahalgam victims
