Who is Anil Kumar Boro?
​Anil Kumar Boro is an Indian academic, poet, folklorist, and translator from Assam, celebrated for his extensive contributions to Bodo literature and folklore studies. Born on December 9, 1961, in Kahitama village near Manas National Park, Assam, he pursued his education at Gauhati University, earning a master’s degree in English literature and a Ph.D. in folklore studies. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Department of Folklore Studies at Gauhati University.
