Narzary began his artistic journey by singing Bodo wedding songs on All India Radio’s open-air show in Delhi. This experience inspired him to do more for the Bodo culture. On January 26, 1957, he performed the traditional Bodo dance ‘Bagurumba’ as part of a cultural group during the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi. In 1976, he presented Bodo dance at the Indo-Soviet Ministerial Conference held in Guwahati, helping to introduce Bodo traditions to an international audience.
Later, in 1992, he performed the ‘Nasina’ dance at the 13th Asia Fair, which was highly praised by the audience. In 1982, his group performed at the Janajati Lok-Nritya Pradarshani, a tribal folk dance exhibition at Rabindra Bhavan in Guwahati, where they showcased the beauty and richness of Bodo dance.
