Delimitation Order for 81 New Villages in BTR: The Government of Assam has initiated the process of delimitation for 81 newly included villages within the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). These villages were incorporated through three separate notifications issued by the Welfare of Bodoland Department:
- Notification No. E-233475/272 dated 31/12/2022
- Notification No. E-233475/303 dated 06/11/2023 (Update Soon)
- Notification No. E-233475/387 dated 21/09/2024
These notifications confirmed the inclusion of the 81 villages into the BTR.
81 New Villages in BTR Draft Notification | Delimitation Order Issued by Assam Govt
As per Rule 3(2) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (Election) Rules, 2004, the Government is required to publish a draft delimitation order for public feedback. The objective is to determine the territorial limits of BTC constituencies in which the new villages will be included.
The Governor of Assam, after due consideration, has released the draft order for delimitation, detailed in Annexure-A (PDF) outlining the proposed boundaries and inclusion of the 81 villages across various BTC constituencies.

Public Invited to Submit Feedback
The government has invited views, objections, or suggestions from individuals and organizations regarding the draft delimitation. Interested stakeholders may submit their feedback to the respective District Commissioners:
- Last date for submission: 13/06/2025
- Forwarding to the undersigned by DCs: on or before 16/06/2025
