Darrang Medical College And Hospital
A new Medical College and Hospital is set to be established in Darrang District, aligning with the vision of Health for All. This institution will be built at an estimated cost of Rs. 572 crore. The upcoming darrang medical college and hospital will have the capacity of 430 beds, that will provide quality healthcare services.
The upcoming darrang medical college will have an annual intake of 100 MBBS students, further strengthening medical education and healthcare accessibility in the state.
Additionally, The Cabinet has directed adding of BSc Nursing Schools and GNM schools alongside the Darrang medical College project.
