Post Basic Bsc Nursing Entrance Exam SSUHS 2025 Notification
The SSUHS, a State University under the Government of Assam, has released an official notification regarding the Entrance Examination for admission into the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course for the academic session 2025.
As per the announcement, the entrance exam will be conducted on 20th July 2025 in Guwahati. Candidates can submit their online application forms through the SSUHS official website (www.ssuhs.in) from 2nd June 2025 to 30th June 2025. Admissions and seat distribution will follow the guidelines prescribed by the Government of Assam.
Eligibility Criteria for SSUHS Post Basic Bsc Nursing Entrance Exam
Candidate must be an Indian citizen and must have passed Higher Secondary, Senior Secondary, Intermediate, or 10+2 (or an equivalent examination) recognized by the University. Candidates who completed 10+1 before 1986 are also eligible.
Nursing Qualification:
- The applicant must have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
- Registered as R.N.R.M. (Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife) with the State Nurses Registration Council.
- Male nurses, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course, must provide proof of equivalent training (approved by the Indian Nursing Council) in lieu of midwifery in any one of the specified areas.
