BTR Govt Sponsored Diploma Course in Hospitality Industry 2025-26: The Tourism Department of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) has officially announced a fully sponsored residential Diploma Course in the Hospitality Industry for the session 2025-26. This opportunity is exclusively for unemployed youths from economically weaker sections of the Bodoland Territorial Region.

This initiative is a part of the “HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY EduP – Building Skilled Manpower” project and aims to empower youth through skill development and industry-ready training.

Courses Offered

Under the Free Diploma Courses in Hospitality Industry initiative by the BTR Government, applications are invited for admission into the following four specialized courses:

1. Food Production = 2 seats
2. Food & Beverage Services = 9 seats
3. Bakery & Confectionery = 2 seats
4. Housekeeping = 5 seats
5. Front Office = 2 seats

A total of 20 eligible candidates will be selected for this fully residential diploma program, which spans one year and six months. The training will be conducted at the Food Craft Institute, Samaguri, located in Nagaon district of Assam. The institute is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), New Delhi, under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Benefits of BTC Sponsored Diploma Courses in Hospitality Industry

The BTR Tourism Department will cover all institutional expenses, including admission fees, course fees, uniform charges, caution money, examination fees, enrollment fees, and internal assessment charges. However, students will be responsible for managing their personal expenses during the course duration.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Free Diploma Courses in Hospitality Industry offered by the BTR Government, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

• Must be a permanent resident of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
• Should belong to the economically weaker section of society.
• Must be an unemployed youth seeking skill development in the hospitality sector.
• Should possess the minimum educational qualification required by the Food Craft Institute (as per course requirements).
• Must be physically and mentally fit to undergo residential training for a duration of 1 year and 6 months.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the Free Diploma Courses in Hospitality Industry will be carried out by the Tourism Department, BTC, through the following steps:

1. Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview to assess their interest, communication skills, and suitability for the hospitality industry.

• Date: 25th July 2025 (Friday)

2. Final Selection List

Based on document verification and interview performance, a final list of selected candidates will be published on 29th July 2025 (Tuesday)

Training Details

The selected candidates will undergo comprehensive, hands-on training at the Food Craft Institute, Samaguri (Nagaon, Assam) — a premier institute affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), New Delhi, under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

BTC Tourism Department Result 2025 | Hospitality Management Course Selection Declared

The Tourism Department, BTC, has officially declared the selection result for Hospitality Management Diploma Courses on 29 July 2025. The selection was made after document verification and interviews held on 25 July 2025 in collaboration with the FCI faculty.

The department has released the list of 20 selected students across five departments- Front Office, Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Bakery & Confectionery, and Housekeeping. The selected candidates are as follows:
