Great News for Tea Tribe & Adivasi Aspirants!! If you have cleared the UPSC/APSC Civil Services Prelims 2025, you are eligible to receive financial assistance from the Government of Assam.

The TTWD, Assam has issued an official advertisement on 24th July 2025 via its website https://teatribes.assam.gov.in, inviting online applications for the Assam Tea Tribe and Adivasi Scholarship 2025 from eligible candidates who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Prelims Examination conducted by UPSC or APSC.

Under this initiative, known as the APSC Tea Tribes and Adivasi Scholarship and the UPSC Tea Tribes and Adivasi Scholarship, candidates who have qualified in both the UPSC and APSC Prelims in the same year will be considered only under the UPSC Prelims for the scholarship benefit.

Applications are being accepted through the SIRISH Scholarship portal at https://sirishassam.in from 1st August to 15th August 2025.

All eligible permanent residents of Assam belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities are encouraged to apply. This Assam APSC UPSC Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to help aspirants from marginalised communities prepare for the Civil Services Mains Examination.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam Civil Service Scholarship 2025

To apply for the scheme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam and belong to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community.
2. A valid Caste Certificate issued by the Deputy Commissioner or an authorised officer must be submitted.
3. The applicant must have cleared the Civil Services Prelims conducted by UPSC or APSC during the current year (2025). A copy of the admit card and result must be submitted.
4. If a candidate has cleared both UPSC and APSC Prelims in the same year, the scholarship will be granted only for UPSC Prelims.
5. An undertaking on the family’s annual income (as per the given format) must be provided.

To apply for the Assam UPSC Scholarship 2025 for the Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community you need to follow the steps given below-

1. Visit the official application portal- https://sirishassam.in/
2. For new users, click on the REGISTRATION link, Existing users can click on the LOGIN option.
3. Complete your registration.
4. After successful registration, applicants can login using the username and password created during registration.
5. Upload the necessary/required documents and submit it.
6. Download the complete form and save it to your device.
7. Take a printout for future reference.

1. Scanned copy of applicant’s recent passport size photograph (In JPG or JPEG format, Max. Size 50 KB)
2. Scanned copy of applicant’s signature with following specifications. (In JPG or JPEG format, Max. Size 20 KB)
