Eligibility Criteria for Bodoland Overseas Scholarship 2025?
To be eligible for the BOSP, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of BTR.
- Educational Qualification:
- UG: 12th pass with at least 60% marks
- PG: Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks
- PhD: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks
- Post-Doc: PhD submitted or completed within last 3 years
- Age Limits:
- Undergraduate studies: up to 20 years
- Postgraduate (Master’s) studies: up to 25 years
- Doctoral (PhD) studies: up to 30 years
- Post-Doctoral research: up to 40 years
- University Admission: Must have an admission/offer letter from a top 500 ranked foreign university.

- Commitment: Must show intent to contribute to BTR’s development for 5 years after studies.

Bodoland Overseas Scholarship Programme 2025 Notice
Terms & Conditions
- Bond Agreement: Scholars must return and serve/work for minimum 5 years in BTR.
- Repayment Clause: If the student fails to complete the course or violates terms, the scholarship will be treated as a loan repayable with interest.
- Performance Monitoring: Progress reports must be submitted periodically.
- Termination: Scholarship can be withdrawn in case of failure, misconduct, or breach of agreement.
