TWWD Financial Assistance for Higher Studies 2025 Notification

The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Assam has issued an official notification inviting online applications for the Higher Studies Scholarship Assam 2025 through the SIRISH – Online Application Portal (https://sirishassam.in). This Assam Government Scholarship is for students belonging to the Tea Tribe community of Assam to provide financial assistance for pursuing higher education in various courses such as MBBS, BDS, MBA, BBA, MA, M.Sc, and more.

Eligible and interested candidates from the Tea Tribes community are encouraged to apply for the Sirish Assam Higher Studies Finanacial Assistance 2025 to receive financial support for higher studies under this Tea Tribes & Adivasi Welfare Department scheme.

The online application for Higher Studies Scholarship Assam 2025 started on 1st July 2025, and the last date to apply online is 15th August 2025. Eligibility Criteria For SIRISH Financial Assistance for Higher Studies

To apply for Tea Tribes Welfare Scholarship Assam 2025 you need to meet the eligibility criteria below-

1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam and must belong to Tea
   Tribes and Adivasi community.
2. An undertaking/declaration of the annual family income (not exceeding Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum) must be submitted by the parent or guardian, as per the prescribed format.

How to Apply Financial Assistance for Higher Studies Scholarship in Assam

1. Visit the official website- https://sirishassam.in/
2. For new users, click on the REGISTRATION link, Existing users can click on the LOGIN option.
3. Complete your registration.
4. After successful registration, applicants can login using the username and password created during registration.
5. Upload the necessary/required documents and submit it.
6. Download the complete form and save it to your device.
7. Take a printout for future reference.

Required Documents

1. Original copy of Birth Certificate/HSLC Admit/HSLC Pass Certificate as age proof.
2. Original copy of Mark-sheet of last examination passed.
3. Admission fee receipt of the course undergoing/Recommendation from Principal.
4. Undertaking on family income as per attached format.
5. Original copy of caste certificate.
6. Original copy of Aadhaar Card.
7. First page of applicant’s bank passbook.

List of documents to be uploaded(For Existing Applicants)

1. Original copy of Mark-sheet of last examination passed.
2. Admission fee receipt of the course undergoing/Recommendation from Principal (Current Year).

The amount of the Assam SIRISH Scholarship for the Students studying in higher studies are provided below in the table fomat-

Post-graduate courses (Like – MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW and equivalent) LAW, Research Work.	Rs. 25000/-

Note- Financial grants are disbursed to the bank accounts of students/candidates through e-transfer.
