ADRE Grade 3 Skill Test 2025: In a recent Facebook Live session, Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced a significant update regarding the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE 2.0). As per the announcement, the skill test for Grade 3 posts will begin from 15 June 2025.
Candidates who have successfully qualified in the written test are now required to appear for this practical round (skill test) to secure positions under various departments of the Govt of Assam.

ADRE Skill Test Date 2025
ADRE 2.0 Skill Test: The Assam SLRC has already successfully conducted the written tests of ADRE Grade 3 on 15 Sep 2024 (for HSSLC Level & Bachelor Degree Level), and 29 Oct 2024 [for HSLC Level (Driver)]. And the ADRE result for the written test was declared on 7 March 2025.
As per the latest announcement made by the by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sharma vide Facebook Live, the ADRE Grade 3 Computer, Driving, Steno test, Skill test (as applicable) will be started from 15 June 2025 and completed within a month period.
This announcement brings clarity and relief to thousands of aspirants who have been waiting for the next phase of the ADRE recruitment process. Candidates who have successfully cleared the written examination are advised to stay updated with official notifications from Assam SLRC for detailed scheduled and admit card releases.

ADRE Garde 3 Skill Test Pattern (Expected)
The nature of the skill test depends on the category of post applied for:-
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) = For most clerical and technical posts:
- Typing (English/ Assamese): Speed and accuracy.
- Basic use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Stenography Test = For stenographer posts:
- Dictation and transcription
- Speed test in shorthand and typing
- Other Technical Skills = For specialized posts:
- Depending on job nature (e.g., Lab Assistant, Field Assistant), practical knowledge may be tested.
