19th Kamal Kumar Brahma Derhasat Bantha-2025: A prestigious academic celebration, Kamal Kumar Brahma Derhasat Bantha Award is set to take place today on 23rd May, 2025, at Bishnu Rabha Bhawan, Goreswar, Tamulpur. A total of 13 students has received the academic award.
This annual event is organized in memory of Kamal Kumar Brahma, aims to recognize and honor the outstanding academic achievements of students from the Bodo community who excelled in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination.
Assam HSLC Result 2025 Date
ASSEB Board conducted the HSLC Exam from 15th February to 3rd March 2025, and the result is declared on 11 April 2025 (37 days after completion of Exam).

Kamal Kumar Brahma Derhasat Bantha
The Bodo medium in school was introduced on 18 May 1963, and since that day, 18 May has been celebrated as Bodo Medium Day.
Every year, the All Bodo Student Union (ABSU) organize an event where they confer the Kamal Kumar Brahma Derhasat Award to the top 10 ranks holder and topper students in HSLC final exam in Bodo Medium School across the state.
The award has been instituted by the ABSU in memory of the noted writer, academician, and former president of Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Kamal Kumar Brahma. He was president of BSS during 1990-93.
This year 2025, a total of 13 students will be awarded for ranking among the Top-10 HSLC performers from the Bodo community. Their hard work and academic excellence have not only made their families proud but also brought honor to the community.
