The online application process concluded on 7 April 2025.
The written examination for the VCDC Secretary posts was conducted on 1 June 2025 (Sunday), and the BTR VCDC Result was announced on 28 July 2025. BTR VCDC Recruitment 2025 Notification
On 31 July 2024, the Assam Cabinet approved the creation of 474 Secretary positions for Village Council Development Committee (VCDC) in areas governed under the Sixth Scheduled of Assam. The distribution of these positions include 420 VCDCs in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). 136 in Kokrajhar, 61 in Chirang, 144 in Baksa, and 109 in Udalguri.
In this regard, online applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates who are resident of BTR and having registration in the Employment Exchange of Assam for filling up of 420 posts of Secretary for VCDC under P&RD Department.
The online application process for BTR VCDC Recruitment started on 24 March 2024 at CSB Kokrajhar website centralselectionboard.com. And the last date to apply is 07 April 2025.
NOTE: Candidates belonging to newly added 60 No. of villages from Biswanath and Sonitpur District to Udalguri District under BTR are also eligible to apply for the posts.
