TATA WPL 2024 Schedule Date
WPL Schedule 2024: The WPL, owned and run by the BCCI, is a T20 cricket league for women in India. The schedule of 2024 WPL season 2 starts on February 23, with the opening match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals in Bengaluru.
The WPL 2024 final match is set for March 17 at New Delhi. The 2024 is the second edition of the WPL, with all matches schedule to be held in two cities- Bangalore and Delhi.
WPL 2024 Venue
WPL 2024 schedule with venue: Like previous year, the WPL 2024 season 2 will not follow a home-away format.
The BCCI has confirmed that the women’s T20 Cricket Tournament will be held in two cities: Banngalore and Delhi.
The first 11 matches are scheduled to be held at M Chinnaswami Stadium in Bengalore until March 4, with the remaining 11 matches (comprising 9 league matches and 2 knockout- eliminator on March 15 and the final on March 17), will be hosted at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 2024 WPL Teams
2024 WPL Team List: There are five WPL cricket team participating in the tournament, consisting of 18 players each, with a maximum of 6 foreign players.
Women’s IPL Auction 2024: During the recently concluded WPL Auction in Mumbai, a total of 30 players were successfully acquired by five teams from a pool of 165 registered players. Out of these players, 104 ere Indian players while 61 were international players including 15 associate nations.
(Note: 56 capped players are 56and 109 uncapped players out of 165 players.)

The format for the WPL 2024 schedule will remain the same as last year, with the top 3 teams in the league stage advancing to the playoffs. The team that finishes first in the league table will secure a direct spot in the final, while the second and third place teams will compete in the Eliminator.

WPL 2024 Matches: The tournament will have a total of 22 matches, split equally between Bengaluru and Delhi, with 11 matches in each city. These include 20 league matches and 2 knockout matches- the eliminator and the final.
There is only one WPL 2024 match scheduled daily at 7:30 PM IST, with no double headers.
