I League Winners List From 2007 to 2024: I-League, the second tier of India’s annual football competition after the Indian Super League (ISL), was established in 2007 and is managed by AIFF.

Initially starting with 10 teams, the league currently comprises 13 clubs, with a total of 39 clubs having participated over the years.

The league introduced promotion and relegation structure starting from the 2022-23 season. The promoted teams will advance to ISL (the first tier of Indian football competition), while the relegated teams move to the I-League 2 (the third tier of the Indian football competition). Punjab FC was the first team to be promoted to the ISL after winning the title in 2022-23 season.

Dempo Sports Club has the most win in the I-League history, with 3 champion titles, followed by Churchill Brothers, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Bengaluru FC, and Gokulam Kerala with 2 win each. Mohammedan SC, the winners of I-League 2023-24 season, along with Salgaocar FC, Aizawl FC, Minerva Punjab, and Chennai City Roundglass Punjab have won the league once.
