Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MBBS Admission under the Ex-Servicemen & Serving Defence Personal quota, the candidate must:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Must have appeared for and qualified in NEET UG 2025.
- Must be the child of an Ex-Serviceman or Serving Defence Personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force).
- Must produce official documents to validate defence service and relationship.

- Visit DME Assam official website: www.dme.assam.gov.in
- Look for the MBBS/BDS Admission 2025 (Special Quota) section.
- Download the special quota application form.
- Fill in all required details like: Personal, Educational qualifications, Category under which you’re applying (e.g., Ex-Servicemen & Serving Defence Personal Quota), NEET UG 2025 details.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of Martyr of Assam Movement quota.
- Submit the filled form and documents in person to: Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, 2nd Floor, Room No. 5.
- Submission must be done on or before 11 July 2025 (during office hours).
