Assam MBBS BDS Admission 2025: Special Quota Document Verification Update
DME Assam has issued a Notice regarding the document verification process for candidates applying under special quotas for admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses in the Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for the Session 2025. As per the notification, document verification for candidates applying under various special quota categories will be held on 18 July 2025 at the office of the DME, Assam, located in Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22.

Assam MBBS Admission 2025 for Martyrs of Assam Movement Quota: Applicants whose family members sacrificed their lives during the Assam Movement are eligible for this quota. This includes submission of official recognition as a Martyr of Assam Movement as defined by the Government of Assam.
3. Assam MBBS Admission for Extremist Violence Quota
Assam MBBS Admission 2025 for Extremist Violence Quota: This category is reserved for candidates or families who have been affected by extremist violence in Assam. A government-certified proof of victim status and related documents must be provided for consideration under this quota.
4. Assam MBBS Admission for Ex-Serviceman & Serving Defence Personal
Assam MBBS Admission 2025 for Ex-Serviceman & Serving Defence Personal Quota: Children of Ex-Servicemen or currently Serving Defence Personnel from Assam are eligible under this category. A service certificate from the respective defence authority along with relationship proof is required for applying under this quota.
5. Assam MBBS Admission for Sports Quota
Assam MBBS Admission 2025 for Sports Quota: Candidates who have represented the state or nation in recognized sports events may apply under the sports quota. Valid certificates from recognized sports bodies and proof of participation are mandatory.
